Cooperation Games

Cooperative games are games where the challenge is solved by the group rather than won against an opponent. Success depends on communication, shared problem solving, and every member of the group contributing.
Example activities
Adventure education, icebreakers, team building activities
Key concepts and tactics
  • Communicating a plan clearly while under pressure
  • Listening to and building on other people's ideas
  • Making sure everyone in the group has a role
  • Trying, failing, and adjusting together
  • Noticing and naming what actually helped the group succeed
